Join Us: In Our Fight for Quality Education for All

Help defend the right to an affordable and quality education for all students. Apply today to be a student mobilization intern for the American federation of teachers.

Throughout the upcoming school year, 50 students from all over the Los Angeles Community College District will mobilize students on their campuses and in their communities to:

• Fight budget cuts and fee increases
• Fight budget cuts and fee increases
• Meet with state legislators both in Los Angeles and in Sacramento
• Stand in solidarity with workers throughout Los Angeles who are standing up to demand their rights

Student interns will dedicate approximately five hours a week to this important work and will receive a 1,000 dollar stipend each semester.
